This bodes poorly for the future. Beta tester Mofo and his pals on the Horde went to WoWwiki.com/Tol_Barad”>Tol Barad (the new Wintergrasp) for some outdoor PvP action, but the enemy declined to show up. Mofo attributes this to a population imbalance on the beta servers. With so many people expressing love for the goblins, and so many complaints about the worgen models, will we be facing another blood elf-esque surge in the Horde population?

Beta tester WoWarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Drenden&cn=Zombina”>Zombina of Drenden (US-H) writes, “Something went terribly wrong when I was flying my goblin warlock over Searing Gorge. I was suddenly dismounted and fell to my death. After deciding to resurrect at the spirit healer, I was stuck there. I could only walk a few meters from the graveyard. So I decided to hop on my trike and see if I could ride out. Doing that caused me to fall into the darkness, and I was trapped under the earth, I guess. While waiting for my hearthstone cooldown, I decided to play with the darkness and my cool spells. The hearth never worked, by the way. That little gobby is still stuck under the earth in Searing Gorge.”

We know that incoming Warchief Garrosh Hellscream is somewhat paranoid about the intentions of the Alliance. But sending out nether rays with giant eyes on their bellies to spy for you? For shame, Garrosh. At least get the goblins to build you a less obvious bug. Perhaps a small listening device with a 10 percent chance of fatal explosions would do the trick. I just don’t know about this quest. I mean, extra experience is always nice, but I just can’t shake the feeling that this whole thing is a ploy to get an easy dinner for Horrible Gelatinous Blob over there. Someone call David Icke, stat! The lizard people have finished interfering with Minnesota politics and are now invading World of Warcraft. Beta tester Sara was attempting to change her male worgen into a female, and instead revealed the hideous true reptilian form hidden beneath the fur. She writes that when she logged back in, the character was a normal worgen female, but don’t be fooled by the exterior appearance. The lizard people have shown their true faces, and we will not be fooled again. No, we won’t.

Welcome, friends, to another Reader UI of the Week. It has been an exciting week for addons … sort of. User interface customization has been enabled on the Cataclysm beta servers, and addon authors are working hard to create some awesome new mods. Hopefully, in the near future, we will be getting some cool new user interfaces coming out of beta, as well as addons and changes.

In the meantime, we’ve got some awesome user interfaces to cover. Today’s reader submission comes from Aanye on the Cenarius realm. Using WoW.com/2010/07/27/reader-ui-of-the-week-fizziks-ui-mk-ii/”>Fizzik’s UI as inspiration and a set of UI-defining requirements, Aanye has gone and made a very capable and very slim laptop user interface for himself.
